Why give us money?
The Tulsa Atheist work extremely hard at trying to see to it that our Oklahoma legislators pass laws that are equal and fair to ALL Oklahoman’s. Not just for religious groups.

Our state constitution states that no laws be made in favor of any religion and yet the present group of legislators seem to have an agenda that undermines this cornerstone of Oklahoma and the United States.

Recently, the Tulsa Atheist were successful in helping Governor Henry decide to VETO a bill that had been passed by this group of legislators that would have allowed unsubstantiated religious answers to be counted as correct to scientific questions posed in Oklahoma public schoolrooms.

We want to see that the children of Oklahoma get an education that will improve there minds and understand the science and physics at work everyday around them and have the ability to use reason and logic to answer questions life’s questions.

The Tulsa Atheist will be getting involved in charity work as well. We want the world to know that charity comes from good people of all walks of life, not just a church.

We want to build a community based on people who want intelligence to guide the way, not ignorance.

While our group works hard for you and gets nothing but the smile on our face from our efforts, we are not an organization that can qualify as a charity or non-profit so your donation is NOT tax deductable.
